Calara Detailing - Terms & Conditions (UK 2025)

1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by Calara Detailing (“we,” “us,” “our”) to customers (“you,” “your”). By booking or using our services, you agree to abide by these terms.

2. Booking & Payment
2.1. Appointments can be booked via our website, phone, or in person.
2.2. A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.
2.3. Full payment is required upon completion of the service. We accept cash, bank transfers, and major credit/debit cards.
2.4. Prices are subject to change, but confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed price.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
3.1. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund of any deposit.
3.2. Cancellations within 48 hours may result in a loss of deposit.
3.3. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, staff illness). Customers will be notified as soon as possible.

4. Service & Liability
4.1. We will carry out all services professionally and to a high standard.
4.2. It is your responsibility to remove personal belongings from the vehicle before the service. We are not liable for any lost or damaged items left in the car.
4.3. While we take the utmost care, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage to your vehicle, including but not limited to paintwork, upholstery, or mechanical components.
4.4. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please notify us within 24 hours so we can address your concerns.

5. Vehicle Condition & Additional Charges
5.1. We reserve the right to refuse service if a vehicle is in an excessively poor condition (e.g., biohazardous materials, excessive dirt, infestations).
5.2. Additional charges may apply for vehicles requiring extra time or effort beyond our standard detailing services (e.g., excessive pet hair, stains, heavy soiling).
5.3. If an additional charge is required, you will be informed before we proceed with the service.

6. Warranty & Disclaimer
6.1. We do not guarantee that stains, odours, or defects will be completely removed.
6.2. Any protective coatings or treatments applied as part of our services will have varying durability depending on environmental conditions and vehicle usage.
6.3. We are not liable for damage resulting from defects, poor maintenance, or underlying issues with the vehicle.

7. Complaints & Disputes
7.1. If you have a complaint, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion.
7.2. We will attempt to resolve disputes fairly and promptly. If a resolution cannot be reached, we may refer the matter to an independent mediator.

8. Privacy & Data Protection
8.1. We collect personal data for booking and service purposes only.
8.2. Your data will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
8.3. By using our services, you agree to our privacy policy.

9. Governing Law
9.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
